逐步淘汰全国学校考试

在孩子7岁，11岁，14岁进行的所有的全国性的考试都可以被取消，英国某负责学校考试的机构负责人建议说。

KenBoston说一小部分学生可以参加考试，而不是监督国家标准。

这可以与针对孩子个人的“渐进性测试”方法结合起来，他对《时代周刊》说。

政府表示，并不打算取消国家测试，并称国家测试体制能够激励学生进步。

批评者表示，考试为教师制造了太多负担，同时使得课堂活动过于狭窄的只以考试为重点。

抽样：

Boston先生，QCA（可以译为资质和课程委员会）首席执行官，称通过抽样调查可以获得更细化的结果。

测试被安排由全英国所有7岁，11岁，14岁的孩子参加。测试结果构成学校排名表的基础。

Boston先说对时代周刊说，"在10年内用相同的试卷进行抽样测试可以给出比当前结果更细化的结论"

“就目前来看，测试应该保留，但是当渐进性测试得以实施，并且小学生在整个关键阶段（译者注：这里面所谓关键阶段就是指在英国国家教育体系下将儿童学习划分的几个阶段，分别是：5-7，7-11，11-14，14-16）的表现信息可以由此获得时，我们可以考虑从另一个方式获取全国性的信息”

新的资质：

一位教育与技术部门新闻发言人说，该部门正在就有关提案进行咨询，该提案意图让孩子参加更多测试，从他们有能力参加考试的一刻起，而不是直到一个漫长的关键阶段的最后才参加考试。

他还说“很多好学校已经在第五年的时候开展可选的国家测试，或者将第三阶段的考试提前一年”

波士顿先生还建议，应该允许英国航空公司、玛莎公司等雇主提供资质认证。

他说这种内部员工的业务培训，将有助于缩小技能方面的差距。

Boston先生说他设想的制度下，英国航空公司可以提供航空客运事务的资质认定。

他说“企业每年花费330亿英镑用于培训，其中大量活动都不受监管”

Boston先生将在QCA发布其年度报告后再度发言。
