这个问题可以说是因人而异，大部分人认为考研难在单词量和语法，其实，这不是单词量和语法的问题。对于过了专八，和六级拿高分的同学来说，单词量和语法早已不是问题。专八单词12000个，考研5500个，六级5000个。而语法，只要高中读完，就几乎再没有新的语法了。至于熟词僻意，在考研中的确有，但只占少数，对于考生的威胁也不形成气候。

考研英语真正的难点在于陷阱!

这在四六级，专四专八中是几乎绝迹的。但是考研的客观题，即，完型，阅读，新题型中都充斥着陷阱。比如，阅读中：偷换概念，以偏概全，无中生有，扩大范围等等。

在此，浅谈一下完型。出题者在完形中，使过的一类最简单的小猫腻。

例如：在08年的11题中，(注意：请读者先看一个选项，判断它的意思，然后再往下读)选项D.
unaccountably。很多考生把这个单词理解为：无数的。结果带入特别通顺，结果答错，失分。殊不知，上了出题者的当，这个单词应该是：无法解释地。注意此词的词根为：account
作为动词表示：解释，而不是count 作为动词表示，数数。这是高中词汇表中的一个单词。在此处，出题者就指望考生把这个单词看错为：无数的，然后带回去答错。

此处是完型干扰项的一种设置：称作：词形干扰。说白了就是障眼法。

最近十年类似明显的障眼法还有三处，分别是：

02年的38题，选项D. effected。这是一个根本不存在的单词，注意effect是名词，affect是其动词形式，其后才能加ed。

03年的31题，选项C. personnel，有人误读为：私人的，实为：人事的;

同样03年的31题，选项D. corporation，有人误读为：合作，实为：公司;

异常巧妙的是：如果选项C. personnel 误认为：私人的，即与该题选项B. indivial，个人的，形成近义词辨析;而如果选项D.
corporation误读为合作，即与该题选项A.
group，群体的，形成近义词辨析。出题者的干扰项设置可不是没有道理的、任意的，此处，03年的出题者可谓把词形辨析玩到了极致!

由此可见，如果考生们不知考研英语本质(陷阱)的话，可能这个瓶颈就很难逾越。因此，考生如果一个劲只顾复习而不好好分析的话，很有可能就是在南辕北辙。

英语是英语一和英语二；往年也是如此。
但是，今年英语一（或二）所有考生题目是一样的；答案是不同的。即“一科多卷”。

我拿到的同一个题目选项可能是：A is B she C he D it
应该明白了吧。就是：题目相同；选项内容相同，选序不同；那么，答案也不同。

一句话：就是为了防止作弊啊，泄题啊，这种的。

个人英语四级593，六级490，都是一次考过的，虽然考研和四六级不一样，但至少可以说明我英语还算可以的，但这次我的英语阅读至少错了8个，新题型十几分钟做完对了一个，翻译我直接写不出来。作文算是适中，我也没有背模板。这次我只祈求过线就行了。
