按照中考的標准來看，初中英語作文滿分是20分。

其中給分的標准為：

1、整篇作文滿分20分，其中內容8分，語言8分，結構4分2、內容貼切，句子流暢，用語准確，加整體印象分1分；不滿60個詞，少1——5個詞扣0.5分，6——10個詞扣1分。

2、所有給出問題涉及的三項內容，每少一項扣3分；每個拼寫，大小寫，標點符號等錯誤扣0.5分；同一的拼寫錯誤不重復扣分，扣分總和不超過2分；語法錯誤每項扣1分，同一錯誤不重復扣分，扣分總和不超過2分。
