《I HAVE A DREAM》(我有一个梦想)是美国黑人运动领袖Martin Luther King(马丁.路德.金)的一次非常出色的演讲。

在二十世纪六十年代,美国人逐渐认识到,南北战争所致力解放黑奴运动,并没有产生使美国黑人成为完全平等公民的预效果。十九世纪后期,美国黑人的公民权利受到州和地方歧视黑人的法规和惯例层层约束和限制。在日常生活中,美国黑人常常被隔离开来,不能与白人同在一个学校上学,乘坐同一公共交通工具,同在一个地方居住。黑人不能充分参与美国社会生活,甚至在一百年后仍然和奴隶一样被剥夺各种权利,他们生活水准的提高与国家的发展并非完全相称。因此美国黑人的平等问题成为一个严重的社会问题。

Good evening, honorable judges, dear audience, my fellow friends. It’s a great honor for me to make a speech here. my topic is <<There’s not a Star in Heaven that we can’t Reach>>. Hope you can enjoy it. During the winter holiday, I watched the film <<High School Musical>>, it has given me a great movement. This movie is about the life in the high school. Gabriella is a girl who it a talented student and Troy is the leader of the school basketball team. Both of them want to find their music dream. However, not all dreams can be realized easily. Sharpey, the famous actress of East Middle School an her brother were spiteful to them. It’s a great challenge for Troy and Gabriella. But Troy and Gabriella overcome the difficulties, beat Sharpey and Ryan, and realized their own music dream at last. Rush campus, endless challenge, fabulous dreams. Those are my feelings about the life in American Campus. Impacted by the Ecnomic Crisis, I almost lost the confidence to try for American universities. But now, the sprakling of hope burns again. I’ve learnt that everything is desirable, if you can try, if you can persist till the end.I believe, miracles can exist everywhere, every moment, if I tried my best, there’s not a star in heaven that I can’t reach. In my very soul, I have strength, it lifted me up, raised me high, till I’m finally at the top. Failures aren’t scaring, if I have the courage to cheer up, I will sure be the most fabulous and the incomparable one There’s not a star in heaven that we can’t reach if we’re trying. There’s not a failure in the world that we can’t overcome if we’re battling. Always believe that miracles can exist wherever, whenever and forever, and we’re all ordinary miracles ourselves.
