昭君，字王嫱，开始在汉元帝时，凭借着良家子女的身份被选入掖庭。那时，呼韩邪单于来到我大汉朝，汉元帝命令将五个宫女送个他。昭君进宫多年，不能见到龙颜，悲愤积怨已久，于是请求去掖庭的命令。呼韩邪单于的践行大会，汉元帝召集五个宫女送个他，昭君美丽华贵，照亮了整个宫廷，看看周围，群臣惊动。汉元帝吃惊，想要留住她，但是不能失信，就给了匈奴。（昭君）生了两个孩子。到了呼韩邪死后，他的前妻生的儿子代为单于，想要娶她，昭君上书汉庭想要回来，汉成帝命令她遵从匈奴的风俗，就成了后单于的阏氏
