巴特來到駱駝跟前，攥起韁繩，愛憐地說：「走吧，伙計！天快黑了，阿爸等著我們回家呢！」兩只駱駝好像極不情願地地站了起來。巴特牽著韁繩轉身准備邁向回家的路，可拉著韁繩的手怎麼也使不上力氣，原來兩個調皮的傢伙在跟他「較勁」呢！你看，兩只駱駝倔強地揚起脖子，眼神堅毅地盯著天空，就連大大的鼻孔都差點朝向了天空呢！巴特攥緊繩子，使盡吃奶的力氣往前拉，盡管他憋得滿臉通紅，可駱駝依然紋絲不動。巴特急得直跺腳，可就拿這兩個傢伙無可奈何。
筋疲力盡的巴特索性在草地上坐了下來，他一邊喘氣一邊憤憤地說：「哼！欺負我！回家讓阿爸教訓你們！」可再看看兩只駱駝滿眼的留戀和不舍，巴特心頭的氣也全消了。是啊，它們可是全家的功臣啊，一年四季跟著阿爸在風塵中顛簸、跋涉，能有幾次這樣暢享自然美景的機會，能有幾次這樣悠然自得的時光啊！
巴特又吹起了快樂的口哨，兩只駱駝也再次悠閑地眺望遠方，它們的身影在夕陽的余暉中閃爍著動人的金光......
