詩英文：verse。

verse

一、含義：

n. 詩；韻文；詩節

vi. 作詩

vt. 詩化；在詩中表現；對 ... 精通

二、用法

作名詞意思是「詩」。verse作「韻文，詩」解，比poetry更注重詩的形式，而poetry更注重詩的內容。合乎詩的形式但無詩意的平凡之作叫verse。verse還可指詩節，也可指詩的「一行」。
