Mon.：Tomorrow will be Christmas. But Della feels very sad. Because she has no money to buy a present for her husband , Jim . She has only one dollar and eighty-seven cents . They have only 20 dollars a week, it doesn』t leave much for saving.

In fact, Della and Jim have two possessions in which they both take very great pride. One is Jim』s gold watch, which has been his father』s and his grandfather』s. The other is Della』s long beautiful hair.

D: Life is so hard for me. Though I saved the money for many months , I still have only one dollar and eighty seven cents.

D: I---- I---- I have to have my hair cut and sold it . In that way I can get some money and I can buy a beautiful present for Jim.

(At the shop—「Madame Sofronie. We Buy Hair Goods of All Kinds」)

D: Will you buy my hair?

M: Yes, I buy all kinds of hair. Sit down, please. Take your hat off and let me have a look. Oh, very beautiful. Very good! Twenty dollars , OK?

D: All right. But please give it to me quickly.

M: Here you are. Twenty dollars.

D: Thank you. Bye.

M: Bye.

Mon.：Della spent two hours in the streets. Then she stopped at a Gold Shop and bought a gold watch chain. Now ,Della is at home.

D: Oh, what a beautiful gold watch chain. I think it must match Jim's watch. When he sees it he must be very happy .

(Suddenly the door opened and in came Jim . )

J: You-----?

D: Jim. Don』t look at me that way. I had my hair cut off and sold it because I couldn』t have lived through Christmas without giving you a present. Jim, it will grow quickly. You don』t mind, do you ? I just had to do it. My hair grows very fast, you know. Say 「Merry Christmas!」 Jim, and let』s be happy.

J: You』ve cut off your hair?

D: I』ve cut it off and sold it. It』s sold. I tell you -sold and gone, too. It』s Christmas Eve , Jim. Be good to me, for it went for you.

J: Well , Della. Don』t make any mistake about me. I don』t think there』s anything about a hair cut that could make me love you any less. I know, it went for me. Look at this package .

D: What ?

J: Look at it yourself. You 'll see.

D:Ah! The combs. They were in the shop windows for many months!

J:Yes, the beautiful combs, pure tortoiseshell, with jewelry rims--just the color to wear in your beautiful, hair.

D: But , Jim. They are expensive combs. I know, my heart had longed for them without the least hope of possession. Now they are mine. Thank you Jim.

J; Now, you will see why I was upset at first.

D: Jim, you don』t know what a nice –what a beautiful , nice gift I』ve got for you. Can you guess?

J: I'm sorry. I won't guess.

D: Look. A gold watch chain. Isn』t it lovely ,Jim? I hunted all over the town to find it. You』ll have to look at the time a hundred times a day now. Give me your watch. I want to see how it looks on it .

J: Della, Let』s put our Christmas gifts away and keep them a while. They』re too nice to use just at present. I sold the watch to get the money. And I bought the combs. Now, Let』s have our supper.

禮 物

旁白：明天是聖誕節，但是德拉覺得很難過，因為她無錢為她丈夫吉姆買一聖誕禮物，她只有1.87美元，他們一個月只有20美元的收入，那很難再從中省錢了。

（突然門打開了，吉姆走了進來）

吉姆：你……？

ROSE: (Young Rose) Why, this is a fancy boat, isn't it?
FIANCE: Yes it certainly is.
JACK: Hello, I'm Leonardo DiCaprio. Have you heard of me? I am very famous. (Talking to the audience) Would you like my autograph?
ROSE: (Whispering) Excuse me… but your role is Jack. We are acting in the movie 「Titanic」
JACK: Oh Yeah… (He exits. Music starts to play)
FIANCE: My darling, I love you… and I am rich. Goodnight.
Scene 2
ROSE: (Crying) Oh, I do not love him. I want to die! (She stands at the end of the boat and waits for Jack) I said I want to die. (Shouting) DIE DIE DIE!!! I want to die!
JACK: Don't do it.
ROSE: Stay back! Don't come any closer!
JACK: Take my hand. I'll pull you back in.
ROSE: Go away.
JACK: I will jump in after you.
ROSE: But your beautiful blond hair will get wet.
JACK: Don』t worry. I am prepared. (He takes out a swimming cap from his pocket)

JACK: (Music is playing in the background. Jack is dancing. Rose enters.) Want to dance?
ROSE: I don't know the steps.
JACK: Just move with me. Don't think. (She grins at Jack. He tries to kiss her)
ROSE: Wait... stop! I can』t do this. I have to go. (She leaves… Leonardo starts to talk to woman in the audience)
JACK: Hi what』s your name?
ROSE: (Enters stage holding the script) Leonardo… What are you doing? We are acting! You should not be talking to other women! Look! (She shows him the script) It says Rose exits and Jack calls after her. She exits and he cries. He Cries! Uggghhh! Let』s try it again. From here. (She points to the script)
JACK: Ok Ok… Calm down! (He grabs her and they start dancing again.) Just move with me. Don't think. (She grins at Jack. He tries to kiss her)
ROSE: Wait... stop! I can』t do this. I have to go. (She leaves… This time Jack starts to cry… really cry!)
JACK: (Crying) Ohhhh… Boo hoo… (He stops and winks at the woman in the audience)
ROSE: (Offstage) Leonardo….
JACK: Sorry (He starts crying again and runs off-stage) Oh Roooose!
Scene 4
FIANCE: I had hoped you would come to my room last night.
ROSE: I was tired.
FIANCE: Too much dancing… with Jack?
ROSE: (stiffening) Did you follow me?
FIANCE: (Shouting) You will never behave like that again! Do you understand? (He exits and Jack enters)
JACK: (She is crying. He is trying to calm her) Sssshh. Come here.
ROSE: Hello, Jack. I changed my mind. (Jack puts his hands on her waist. As if he is going to kiss her.)
JACK: Close your eyes. (She does, and he turns her. She is standing with her arms outstretched on each side…like wings.) Okay. Open them.
ROSE: I'm flying!
JACK: Doesn』t it feel wonderful? Wheeeeeeeeeee!
ROSE: Jack? (Jack is still shouting 「wheee」) Jack! JACK!!
JACK: Yeah?
ROSE: My arms are tired!
JACK: (Smelling her armpits) And they smell too. (They stop flying)
JACK: Can I paint you?
ROSE: Oh yes… (She starts to take off her clothes)
JACK: What are you doing?
ROSE: Taking off my clothes. Don』t you want to paint me naked?
JACK: No stop! Oh my god, I am going to be sick. I don』t think that they audience wants to see you naked.
ROSE: (Starts to cry…) Why? Do you think I am fat? I exercise everyday! I am not fat! I am not fat! (She runs off stage crying)
JACK: Women? They are all crazy! (He takes a small bottle of whiskey from his pocket, and takes a shot. Suddenly there is the sound of the ship hitting the iceberg. He falls to the floor.) That can't be good. Oh well… Bottoms up! (Drinks his whiskey… and passes out)
Scene 4
ROSE: (Runs on stage screaming franticly) I have been informed that this boat is sinking!
JACK: (Waking up) Huh?
ROSE: The boat… The Titanic is sinking! (She starts to cry)
JACK: That is terrible. (He falls asleep again. Snoring… Rose tries to wake him up.)
ROSE: Oh well… (She exits screaming franticly again)
Scene 5
FIANCE: (Enters) I am going to handcuff him to this pipe, this room will soon be filling with water… and we will all die… (Does an incredibly evil laugh)
JACK: Why don』t you just shoot me?
FIANCE: Because then you wouldn't be able to escape and save Kate from me…
JACK: Rose, Rose, help!
FIANCE: Enjoy your time together!! (Rose races onstage. She frees him. They all run around stage with squirt guns…occasionally stopping to fight or to kiss… adlibbing. Then there is a loud crash and the ship sinks. The stage is empty)

Teresa: What about me? I don』t know which color I should put on for the PE class, either. My sneakers are blue and the athlete uniform is orange. Would you advise me? (Cathy comes in)Oh hi, Cath, what do you think—blue or orange?
Cathy: Gosh, I don』t know. Is this important? (Answer impatiently)
(The other girls laugh)
Debbie: God, you don』t know anything, do you, Cathy?

Narrator: The same evening, Julie is trying to do her science homework when her brother comes in.

David: But you promised! I need it for the movies tonight!
Julie: It was an emergency!
David: Huh, your priorities are all wrong, sis. (Notice a pimple on Julie』s face.) Nice pimple you have there, by the way.
Julie: Pimple?! What pimple?! (Julie runs to look in the mirror) Aaaargh!! It』s huge! It』s so big!
David: Ha ha ha, with all that make-up you use, I』m not surprised. (Laugh and leave.)
Narrator: Of course Julie is in shock. Now this is really an emergency.
(Julie stops doing her homework and goes straight to the bathroom. She found a jar of 「Miraculous Herbal Mask for pimples」 and read the instructions.)
Julie: (Read slowly) Put a small amount on the affected area and leave on for twenty minutes max. Wash off with warm water.

Narrator: She tries warm water, hot water, and cold water. Use her fingers, a sponge, even her toothbrush! The rock hard and bright green mask stays well on her face. She couldn』t even move her mouth to speak. (Julie wants to speak but she can』t. She runs to her parents』 room with the jar of mask)
Narrator: She goes to her parents』 room and wakes them up.
(Julie wakes her parents up. Her mom opens her eyes and screams.)
Mom: Aaaargh! (Waking up her father.)
Father: Julie, is that you? (Julie nods) What is that on your face?
Julie: Grgmmf…hrmmphgh…gh. (Julie shows her parents the mask jar. Then they understand.)
Mom: You silly girl, can you follow the simple instruction? Don』t you do experiments in science any more or what?

旁白：就在剛才不久，一個黑大漢從曹操軍中救出劉備之子劉阿斗，現在正向這里殺過來，他就是張飛！！！（趙雲出場）Not too long ago,a black general saved the son of LiuBei ,Liu A dou.now,he is coming. His name is Zhangfei.

趙雲：no！本人姓趙名雲，乃常山子龍也！ no! my family name is zhao my middle name is yun and my given name is zilong ~
（趙雲從背後拿出一坨布，代表阿斗）
