二、 語言與溝通技巧
1、 掌握說的技巧:語言是人們進行溝通的最主要的工具。在工作崗位上運用良好的有聲語言和客人及組織成員保持良好的有效溝通。在說話時注意做到:〈1〉言之有物;即說話力求有內容,有價值。有句話說:「與君一席談,勝讀十年書。」 飯店實習人員在為客人服務時應以熱情得體的言談為客人提供優質的服務。總之,要讓別人通過與你的交談感覺到你是一個有文化,有品位的人。〈2〉言之有情;即說話要真誠,坦盪,但只有你的真誠待客,同樣會贏得客人的喜歡。注意在和客人溝通時傳遞你熱情友好的情感。以你的真誠感動客人。〈3〉言之有禮;即言談舉止要有禮貌。中國是一個文明古國。歷史上就有「禮儀之邦」的美稱。旅遊服務行業尤其講究「禮」字當先。所以,在和客人溝通時,一定要注意彬彬有禮。即使客人怎麼無禮,你都必須始終保持良好的禮貌修養。〈4〉言之有度:即說話要有分寸感。什麼時候說,什麼時候不該說,話應說到什麼程度,這都是很有講究的。要注意溝通場合,溝通對象的變化。總之,恰如其分的傳情達意才能有利與我們的工作。
2、 身體語言的溝通:酒店服務人員必須用良好的身體語言為客人提供優質的服務。
(一)身體姿勢:
1、 站姿:站立時要端正。挺胸收腹。眼睛平視。嘴微閉面帶微笑。
2、 坐姿:就坐時姿態要端正。入坐輕緩,上身要直,腰部挺起,脊柱向上,臂放鬆平放。雙膝並攏,坐時不要把椅子坐滿(三分之二為最宜)放鬆平放。雙膝並攏,坐時不要把椅子 坐滿(三分之二為最宜)。

1、 創造一個良好的傾聽環境.

4、注意回應對方:在交談時,如果聽的一方面無表情,一聲不吭,毫無反應,會令說的一方自信心受挫,說話的慾望就會下降。有人說:「和一個毫無反應的人說話,跟和一堵牆說話有什麼區別?」所以,在和人溝通時,你必須注意用頭點,微笑等無聲語言,或用提問等有聲語言回應對方,參與說話。只有這樣,溝通才能暢通,才會愉快。

酒店服務員禮儀培訓技巧:
1、 禮貌、禮儀:是向他人敬意的一種儀式,也是表示敬意的統稱,待人恭敬的態度。
2、 二靜,工做場合保持安靜,隆重場合保持肅靜。
3、三輕一快,操作輕,說話輕,走路輕,服務快。
4、三了解,了解賓客的風俗習慣,了解生活,了解特殊要求。
5、三聲,客人開時有迎聲,客人問時有應聲,客人走時有送聲。
6、自尊,尊重老人,尊重婦女兒童,殘疾人。
7、五勤,眼,口,腳,手,耳勤。

服務員的語言要求:
(基本用語)謙恭、語調親切、音量適度、言辭簡潔清晰、充分體現主動、熱情禮貌、周到、謙虛的態度,根據不同的對象使用語言要恰當,對內賓使用普通話,對外賓要使用日常外語,做到客到有請,客問必答,客走告別。

Qualification

The hospitality instry has been claimed to be a people-centric instry, where its management success and failure revolves around the management of people, particularly interactions between guests and staff.
There is an indicator, which acknowledges the success or failure of such organisations, it is the high level of skills and training of the staff that work in such an instry.

Ecational programs for hotel management is not only a career choice but also a fruitful experience. This is evident if one considers the wide range of topics that students are learning in the hospitality programs. Starting from the front office operations, accounting management, food and beverage, marketing, human resources and tourism. Inevitably such a diversity of topics make the learning process for a hotel management diploma or a degree a rewarding experience. Students that are joining such programs will benefit not only of having a qualification hut also of obtaining a wide range of knowledge across different disciplines.

Ambition & values
Often when students are graating from a hotel management degree or diploma program will say that they will like to become hotel general managers. Their reason is purely on the ambition that they have to succeed as well as of the values that they obtain while they were studying for such qualification. What is critical here is that an ecational program needs to build these ambitions of the students from a qualified faculty that they are in a cutting edge of the instry or academia. However, I would actually cite one reason above all others: the flawless service. From the moment we arrived and were personally greeted by the general manager, who urged us to let him know if there was anything he could do to make our stay more comfortable, we were treated simply wonderfully by everyone at Byblos, from the concierges, to people at reception, to the valet, to the wait staff, to the spa staff. Byblos employees understand how to walk that fine line of treating you with the utmost respect, without coming across as cold or stuffy. The result is a feeling like you are staying at home, like you belong there, like they have been waiting for your arrival all year long and want nothing more than for you to have the best time of your life while staying there.

Finally, I would note that (as others have mentioned) that Byblos just has that special something, which is hard to put your finger on, but that just makes every moment there feel wonderful and exciting.

Of course, there are flaws, as in any hotel. It is expensive, the rooms tend to run small, and some rooms may be loud on certain nights based on proximity to the nightclub. So if any of these issues would make your trip unpleasant, you might want to consider somewhere else, perhaps a hotel slightly out of town that is quieter and with more room.

But for me, Byblos is simply the best - in Saint Tropez, and probably anywhere.
