讓我們先來了解廢舊電池的危害性:廢舊電池的危害主要集中在其中所含的少量的重金屬上,如鉛、汞、鎘等。有資料表明,一節鈕扣般大小的電池產生的有害物質,能污染60萬升水。一節1號電池爛在地里,能使1平方米的土地失去使用、利用價值。若將舊電池和生活垃圾一起埋在土裡,滲出的重金屬物質就會通過土壤,污染地下水,進而進入魚類和農作物。人一旦吃了魚類和農作物後,重金屬便會隨之進入人體,危害人的健康。這些有毒物質通過各種途徑進入人體內,長期積蓄難以排除,損害神經系統、造血功能和骨骼,甚至可以致癌。多麼可怕的事實,沒想到小小的廢舊電池有這樣大危害。老師們、同學們,你們聽明白了嗎?
