Ⅲ 秋天的英文到底是autumn还是fall
autumn和fall都可以表示秋天的英文。
fall是美国多民族下自然形成的本地语，和方言差不多。但现在也广泛使用，autumn是正式的英国英语。fall和autumn都有秋天的意思，autumn和fall这两个词的区别在于使用地区的不同，前者为英国用词，后者是美国英语。
1、autumn：
①作为名词，还有“成熟期、渐衰期”的意思。例句：
例句：The result showed that autumn 、brood amount and spawn weight of the two female mature fish was about colse.(结果表明：两种鱼成熟产卵期和成熟卵粒重相近。)
②作为形容词，有“秋天的、秋季的”。例句：
例句：The autumn sky is especially clear and bright. (秋天的天空分外明净。)
2、fall：
①作为名词，有“瀑布”的意思。
例句：In the afternoon, we went to the mountains to look for a water fall. 下午，我们直奔山里去找寻一个瀑布。
②作为动词，有“跌落、落下”的意思。例句：
例句：I would fall down on your lips. 我要轻轻落下，亲吻你的嘴唇。
