College students are at the period, which the world outlook develops. As the living condition improves, it proces a series of adverse reactions. Some students ignore the tradition virtues of Chinese nation, so they lack of lofty ideals and beliefs. Even some students are addicted to love, or inlging in the network, etc.
Take one point as an example. We are often asked to work in groups. Group work can only be successful when group members respect, help and support each other. While some members are pursuit in personal interests, and ignore the importance of the cooperation. This leads to much misunderstanding, conflict and waste of energy. Though some members have made best use of their talents, the group made no difference at all.
How to deal with these problems? How to solve them? The socialist sense of Honour and Shame indicates the direction for us.

一、理解演讲的意义
在演讲之前，先要学生理解演讲的意义是多方面的，它不但可以提高演讲者的口头表达能力，而且通过演讲的内容既能教育听讲的人，更能在准备讲稿和讲演中教育演讲者自己。如小语十一册积累
运用四的口语交际中，要求学生从“我最钦佩的一种行为”和“我最看不惯的一种现象”中任选一题进行演讲，当学生完成了这项训练后，不仅培养了演讲能力，也培养了明辨是非的能力，从而教育了自己。只有演讲者理解了演讲的意义，在演讲时才会有激情和自信。
二、演讲要有针对性
演讲内容的确定直接关系到演讲的效果。内容的确定要从实际出发，要考虑听众的需要，收集一些普遍关心的问题，做到有的放矢。当学生以“我最钦佩的一种行为”为题演讲时，就要求在内容上选择符合学生实际的，普遍关心的一种行为来进行演讲，如“拾金不昧”、“乐于助人”、“刻苦学习”等等，这样才能引起听众的共鸣。
三、演讲要有激情
念熟演讲稿是演讲的前提，但照本宣读，听众不可能被感染。“演讲”顾名思义，不光讲还要演，听众不光听还要看。如果只照本宣读，听众看到的不过是一架发声的“机器”而已。而听众要看的是一个有感情、有激情的“活人”，只有这样的演讲者才能去感染听众。所以，学生在演讲时，要求他们在演讲的同时倾注上自己的感情，讲起来才不干巴巴，有真情实意。缺乏激情的演讲是没有魅力的。
四、演讲的技巧
当然，演讲也有技巧，掌握这些技巧可以使演讲效果更理想。首先，演讲讲究自然，演讲时所表露的感情，应与内容相吻合，只有真情实意才能抓住听众，打动听众。演讲的节奏要较紧凑，不能慢条斯理。其次，开头要有吸引力，不说多余话，开门见山，单刀直入，抓住听众的“心”。最后，用适当的姿势助演讲，因为丰富多样又适当的手势或姿态，不仅能吸引听众的注意力，而且绘声绘色也会给听众留下深刻的印像。

大赛程序

“CCTV杯”全国英语演讲大赛分四个层次进行，即：初赛、复赛、半决赛及决赛：
（一） 初赛：各省（市、自治区）大学外语教学研究会领导、组织、协调并确定本省（市、自治区）内的高等院校独立或联合承办，在承办学校（即初赛赛点）举行；各省（市、自治区）大学外语教学研究会自行确定各初赛赛点进入复赛的人数。
比赛环节：比赛中可包括有定题讲演、回答问题、即兴发挥等部分。可参考大赛半决赛的形式。
演讲题目：定题演讲可参考大赛决赛的题目，也可自定（可从当代大学生所关心的社会热点问题出发，选定题目。）即兴演讲的题目自定。
评委组成：不少于3名评委（其中外籍专家1名），保证比赛的公正性。
赛场布置：外研社给每个赛点提供统一印制的宣传海报，大赛标志字样为：

（二） 复赛：以各省（市、自治区）为单位，各省（市、自治区）大学外语教学研究会承办。比赛地点由研究会在本省选定。主办单位将派员出席部分赛区的比赛。主办单位为每个赛区提供一万元的经费，经费如有不足可通过收取会务费、争取政府支持、争取企事业赞助等方式解决。
比赛环节：比赛包括定题讲演、回答问题、即兴演讲三部分。可参考半决赛的形式。
演讲题目：定题演讲与决赛一致。即兴演讲部分的题目由研究会自行决定。评委组成：比赛中不少于5名评委（5名在省里有较高公信度的专家教授，其中不少于2名外籍专家），保证比赛的公正性。
赛场布置：外研社给每个赛区提供统一印制的宣传海报，大赛标志字样为：
“CCTV杯”全国英语演讲大赛（复赛）
（XX省赛区）
主办：中央电视台英语频道
外语教学与研究出版社
承办：XX省大学外语教学研究会
（三） 半决赛和决赛：由中央电视台英语频道、外语教学与研究出版社主办，各省（市、自治区）大学外语教学研究会协办。半决赛比赛地点由主办单位确定。决赛在中央电视台演播厅。
比赛形式：各省（市、自治区）复赛的前3名选手参加半决赛。得分排在前20名的选手参加决赛，由CCTV英语频道安排4个45分钟的现场录播节目；主办双方共同邀请评委11人（中方6人，外方5人）。
比赛时间：半决赛3天、决赛2天。
比赛环节：1、定题发言：每位选手首先进行3分钟（正负10秒以内，否则扣分）的有准备发言，决赛命题提前通知选手与指导教师；
2、回答问题：1名中国专家1名外国专家专职负责就定题演讲内
容提问，问答时间总共为2分钟；
3、即兴演讲：半决赛赛题保密，提前两名选手（15分钟）让选手抽题。决赛即兴演讲部分，从保证提高节目收视率出发，采取灵活多变的形式。如情景模式（大公司的英语面试）、电影英文配音、英语知识问答，看电视节目片段然后用英语描述等；具体比赛形式待最后确定后，另行通知选手和领队。即兴演讲部分时间为3分钟。
赛场布置：半决赛和决赛的大赛标志为：
“CCTV杯”全国英语演讲大赛（半决赛）或（决赛）
主办：中央电视台英语频道
外语教学与研究出版社
