我的英語不是很好
考試英語和應用英語所要求的方面非常不一樣，但是單詞量一定是質的提高的保障，而語感是必須追求的目標。
先說單詞量，根據你是初一學生，可以提前以高考3500詞彙作為單詞表，刻意去背，掌握其中重點詞的用法，目標看似高，但實際上現在考試的單詞並沒有明確范圍，多多益善。而且你的年齡也正適合大量記憶，此時做儲蓄很關鍵。另外可以讀書蟲系列叢書，從級別較低的幾本看起。培養興趣，其中地道的語言也會逐漸幫助建立對語言的感覺。可以做些摘抄，不只是好詞好句，更是出於文學的欣賞，這對於長期的能力培養很關鍵。
關於語感，聽說讀寫四項都要求語感。那麼建議經典方法——背誦新概念，如果二冊精背完，對英語的應用應該是普通高中生無法企及的。所以如果有此野心，就實踐吧！我小學時精背過50篇，不斷用復讀機跟讀，直至背下，每周一篇。雖然量很小，但對我如今的口語發音、聽力和理解能力都有極大幫助。另外可以訂閱一些英語學習雜志，作為課外興趣閱讀，學一些地道的口語用法。
我覺得你也可以選一個好的靠譜點兒的英語班，重能力培養，不僅關注考試的那種。畢竟學習語言，能力提高才是真的，如果只是提分兒，長期看實在是浪費精力。
