Dear fellow Americans, our campaign has not been perfect. There are times when I look back and I've said, "you know I wouldn't have done that if I had thought about it a little bit more." But I'll tell you what. When you think about this campaign we've got a lot to be proud of when it comes to the tone that we have set.
We tried to argue issues and not engage in personal attacks. We've been fierce in defending ourselves but we've tried to make sure that we are always reminding our supporters that all of us are in this together. Black, white, Hispanic, native American, Asian, Democrats and Republicans, young and old, rich and poor, gay and straight, disabled and not disabled, all of us have something to contribute.
In this campaign I have had the privilege to witness what is best in America, in the stories, in the faces, of men and women I have met at countless rallies, town hall meetings, VFW halls, living rooms, diners, all across America, men and women who shared with me their stories and spoke of their struggles but they also spoke of their hopes and dreams. They want for their children a sense of obligation and debts to be paid to earlier generations.
Your voice can change the world tomorrow. If you are willing to enre some rain, if you are willing to drag that person you know who is not going to vote, to the polls. If you are willing to organize and volunteer in the offices, if you are willing to stand with me, if you are willing to fight with me, I know your voice will matter.
So I have just one question for you, Are you Ready ?

大家好！我叫謝沛燃。這次我很榮幸能站在講台上進行英語科代表的競選。這次，我要通過我的努力，成為老師的助手，同學的榜樣，我相信我一定能競選上英語科代表這個職務。
一個人最可憐的是無知，最可悲的是自私，最可敬的是拼搏。不管我競選成功與否，我都會讓自私、無知與我無緣。只有那一股子拼勁，為大家，為班級做事。我在每次的英語考試中都能達到95分以上，成績很不錯，此外，我有著強烈的責任心，有豐富的經驗，可以幫助老師做一些力所能及的事。如果我競選成功，我一定會全心全意地為同學服務。每天早上，我會帶領同學們進行早讀，並把同學的作業收齊。在課上，我會帶頭積極舉手發言；課下，如果有同學來問我不會的題，我也一定會耐心爽快地回答。如果遇到了一些難題，我會組織其他的同學共同探討，並尋求老師的幫助。正因為如此，我有信心做好一名英語科代表。
假如我落選了，我也不會傷心，因為那說明我還有許多缺點，我將繼續自我完善，因為每一個失敗都會提醒我下次努力。俗話說「失敗乃成功之母「，我還會繼續努力，找出自己的不足並及時改正，爭取下次能競選上。

It's my great honor to have the chance to deliver a speech here and i'm grateful for it,I am impressed by the excellent speeches made by the previous candidates, I will prove myself to be the best one for the post of chairman of the student union.
很榮幸很感謝有這個機會在此演講，之前大家的演講給我留下了深刻印象，我會證明自己是最適合做學生會主席的人選。
First of all, I have a pleasant personality. I've been getting along well with all my classmates as well as my teachers and have accumulated quite a lot of working experience and communication skills。首先，我有很好的性格。我和同學們老師們相處得很好，積累了很多經驗和交際能力。
In addition, I have the initiative and creativity. Although our student union is well-organized at present, it lacks various activities that we students are interested in and can participate in. I promise, If i am to be elected, I'll change the situation and make the student union a bridge between students and the school.
另外，我有高的積極性主動性。目前盡管學生會組織得很好，但缺乏我們學生感興趣和能參與的活動。如果我當選成功了，我會改變現狀，建立起學生和學校之間的橋梁。

My fellow students, its my great honor to be here to talk about an important decision: who is the best candidate for chairman of the student union in our university. The answer is: me, nobody but me.
Hobbies vary from person to person. People may collect stamps, coins and so on. Take me for example, I collect chairs, a variety of chairs. Im so crazy about it that Im nicknamed "Chairman", You see, Im innately a chairman. My fellow students, please allow me to share with you the reasons why I fit the position best. f Im elected to chair the student union, our school will witness regular job supermarkets involving world-fa-mous corporations. In the first place, these enterprises can spread their names in this prestigious school and recruit fist-class talents like you. In the second place, you will be able to find the most suitable openings to make the fullest use of your potential.
My fellow students, the creation of a better and better campus environment lies in you and me. Lets join hands to take every chance available; lets adapt ourselves to the great changes; lets meet the challenges enthusiastically!

The boy students in our class were preparing to run for monitor. Hearing the news, we girls were full of iaterest and curiosity. We were in bigh spirits and went to listen to their competltive speech. We decided to put our sacred vote to the most suitable person after careful consideration.
The first one who stood up to speak was Yin Xing, who was very active in physical and recreational activities. He pledged to enrich our school life by leading us in singing and dancing and playing games.
The second speaker was Tong Sheng, who was smart and ceonomical and good at planning, He said be would arrange fox our budget in class activities.
The speeches went on. My eyes fell on Jiang Xin, who sat in a corner, listening attentively. That boy was quiet and always readyto help others in their studies. He could play basketball and dance gracefully. I asked him why he did not run for monitor. He said he was no good. Hearing us talking, someone shouted,"Jiang Xin, why not join in and run for monitor?" Jiang Xin stood up. embarrassed,"I am no good. If anyone is in need of me, I am ready to help. That's all."
The time had come for us to count the votes. And to my delight ,Jiang Xin received the most votes and was elected monitor.
