2.I have rested for 10 days. In these days, I felt very bored. I didn’t know to do what. Although I had a lot of things to do, I felt uncomfortable. I was ill because of the hot weather. I was tired, sleepy and had no strength. My parents are worried about my health. in fact, it didn’t matter. I was always in the room with air-conditioner and opened it in a low temperature. So when I went out, the high temperature disagreed to me.At last, I was ill.

Yesterday was my birthday, so some of my classmates sent me presents. Mother prepared a tea party for me. I invited all of them to come and take part in it.The tea party began at half past six. There were cold drinks and refreshments. We ate, talked and laughed. We felt that we were the happiest men in the world.Time passed quickly. In a twinkling, the clock on the wall struck nine. We could not but say “Good-bye” to one another.
5.This Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.
While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).
6.Wednesday July 20, 2009 Fine

I had an unforgettable trip to Cambridge today.

The weather was fine today. My classmates and I went on a guided trip to Cambridge by coach. It took us about three hours to get there.

As soon as we got there, we were divided into several groups, with a professional guide to show us around. First, we were shown the King’s College, whose chapel (礼拜堂) impressed me most. It is the most spectacular (壮观的) building that I have ever seen. Then we visited other places such as Trinity College, and Fitzwilliam Museum. In the end, we walked along the Cambridge river and enjoyed the beautiful view.

Although tired, I spent the most exciting day in my life. I hope one day I can study in Cambridge University — my dream college.

7.July 8 2009

Today I went to the museum.I met some robots. I think I am also be able to have a robot in many years.I think they can help me do some dishes .They also can help with my homework.A good robot can make me happy.When i am upset ,they can tell jokes for me.I will have more free time to have a relax.
8.July 13 2009

I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing basketball is always my favourite, so some of my classmates and I will form a small team and play basketball together. Sometimes we may have a match against some other teams and I do enjoy the sense when we win the game.

英文周记
Tonight I finally watched the movie Before Sunrise, which made the best time of this weekend. There were so many lines and so many moments worth remembered time and time again in this movie. Those people who recommended this movie to me was right. It was worth watching. I couldn't help regarding myself as one of the main characters in this movie. There are moments in your life when you are very ready to meet someone like this--those are fresh moments of course. And the kind of conversations between the two young people are never going to happen between real couples. They are such soulmates that they would only end up not being together after all, because real couple won't be so frank to each other. This sad truth does not get in the way of the movie's being so warm and sweet--just try not to view life from a tragic perspective.

On the other hand, I sensed the resless and uncertaity in the movie. Young people in this generation are brave, doubtful and have their own opnions. They refused to be persuaded and to believe in anything easily but how can you stand firmly if you don't have a blief. Some people would say he believe in love. But in the age when many people considers too much about only themselves to the extent of being selfish, can we be so sure about love? That's the problem. I remembered when Ethan Hawke sitting in the corner of the street and told Julie Delpy that he was sure he could love somebody and be a good husband but he just didn't want to right at that moment. I knew he was hurt and he was afraid. Yeah, this is a skeptical age, the result of liberation. You are free to choose and everybody is, which in the end, means there are many possiblities and uncertainties. And the possibilites sometimes could be exciting and sometimes could be very depressing. It is very sad to always say "who knows?" or "We'll see."

Anyway, like those people who recommended this movie to me, I would like to say again here, it's a good movie, worth watching. And I'm looking forward to see its sequel Before Sunset sometime this week.

By the way, my friends, tell me what's your favourite scenes after seeing it? Mine are many.So far I can only remember the palm reading, the street poet, the street talking and the imaginary phone calls to friends...

Guo Jingming is a famous writer in China. I think all the students have known him. He is also my favourite writer. He was born in 1983. He has published many books, such as “Visionary”,” The Summer Still Doesn’t Come”…

These books are very touching. I often cry and shed bitter tears while I am reading his books. I thought he was a pessimistic person but now I think he is sensational person. He doesn’

t want to grow up judged by this. I think he is pure and naive. Although he is a writer, he studies well. I admire him very much. His words are common, but they make people feel quite close to him.

I hope he can write better articles and I want to be a writer like him when I grow up.

3：国庆节假期计划(My Vacation Plan)

I'm taking a long vacation this week. Although the weather is bad, I’m still taking a vacation.

I want to do something interesting. I heard that Mount Yandang is a good place to have fun. So I'm thinking about going to Mount Yandang. I really want to go with my classmates. And it's exciting for me to go camping.

I hope I finish my homework early. I'm leaving on Thursday and staying until Satu

Evening came at last. Many of my classmate came to my home. they bought me

food. How happy I was!

We got there at nine o’clock. Mr Zhu divided us into three groups and then
we began working.

the students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. the studentsin
Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourist. they also cleaned the
benches in the park. I was in Group Three. We went to the children’s playground
and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard.

At about eleven we finished working. We met at the gate of the park. We all
felt tired but very happy.

This week I mostly stayed at home and did some homework.
