這周的時間比較充裕,所以可以連載這個系列的文章,大家可能注意到了,前兩篇裡面講到的模板和句型的改寫比較多,而從第六篇開始,我講模式會比較多。昨天我們講到一般中間段的寫法,我們再來看看包裝之後的中間段是怎麼寫的。 【認知】今天我們依然選取的是2010年第一篇文章,前4篇我們選擇的是2011年的四篇不同文章,證明句型仿寫等方法的普遍和廣泛,從第5篇開始,我們著重對一篇文章進行分析,這樣在鞏固以前技能的基礎上,我們會對段落以及整體文章的架構和聯系有進一步的理解。今天引用的這一段,可謂是昨天那一段的進一步論證--即年輕人很難想像報刊雜志上出現大篇幅的藝術評論,而在這一段里,描述了更多的背景和支撐細節。原文如下:We are even farther removed from the unfocused newspaper reviews published in England between the turns of the 20th century and the eve of World War Ⅱ, at a time when newsprint was dirt-cheap and stylish arts criticism was considered an ornament to the publications in which it appeared. Says Korn/Ferry senior partner Dennis Carey:I can't think of a single search I've done where a board has not instructed me to look at sitting CEOs first.【解析】1A 我們又一次看到了和昨天一樣親切的the decision to do sth的表達,呵呵,不知道是不是巧合?亦或者是不同作者相同的寫作思維模式?值得一提的是,今天的語言點裡面變成了the decision to do A to do B,裡面涉及到了決定的目的,已經這個目的背後的目的,這個可以稱之為二次推理。除了在語言點上給我們啟發以外,更多的是希望提醒大家,我們做事情的時候,要有進一步思考的意識,在分析別人的動機的背後,也許還需要分析更深一層的動機。如同決定考研的同學的動機絕對不是因為別人都考研了所以你也考研 ,需要更深層次的思考,當然,也不能出現這樣的循環, 考研是為了有個好工作,有個好工作是為了有個好家庭,然後生個好孩子,再讓他考研。 B 還有一點需要注意,就是那個unconvertional,是同學們一般不會想到要用的詞彙。這一句就是我們上課時候所講的Topic sentence.2A 這句話就是我們上課時候所講到的developing sentence。它的目的是支撐和解釋第一句話的, 為什麼這個人的決定是不合常理的?因為這么多年了獵頭找的CEO都是在任的,而不是請辭的那些人。雖然這里沒有用到大家老生常談的becasue, as, for,但是仍然是有個因果聯系的(特別提醒,句首的for,是和years連接在一起的,表示很多年了,不是表達原因的連詞啊)。 B 大家應該能夠讀懂adhere to the rules是什麼意思,一邊拿我們會在rules前面加上不成文的規定--unwritten rules或者看不見的規則hidden rules,後面的that後面就是我們常說的同位語從句,上課時候說過,不要自己坐在那裡想同位語從句,閱讀文章裡面多的是,隨便拈一個考試就夠用了。這個句子應該比較好仿寫吧,畢竟我們遵循的規則還是很多的。 C 大家可以想想看,這里為什麼不直接說the most attractive CEOs must be poached而非要用the most attractive CEOs are the ooes who...這樣講話或者行文可以達到先引起對方的注意,然後再說重點內容,信息能夠有效傳遞的效果,比如中文講:「天氣預報是這樣一檔節目。」聽眾的注意力會被提起來,並且猜想後文,然後再給出下文,「一直以來它都竭盡全力說真話,但是嘗試一次,就幾乎失敗一次。」這樣的處理,聽眾或者讀者滿足了預期,說話者或者筆者收獲了關注。3A 這個雖然是引語,不過在這個段落裡面,充當了例證的角色,完全符合我們課堂上面所講授的觀點句,支撐句,例證的寫法結構。稍微注意一下這個雙重否定。 B 值得注意的是,在考研作文當中,我們一般少用i,所以,這個地方的i can't think of。。。可以改成客觀的評述,比如 it would be wildly impossible to think of 等。 c 在a single search的後面出現了兩個定於從句,一個是修飾search的特徵,一個是描述search裡面的內涵,那個where自然等於in which。【應用】思想:給出觀點,分析原因,給出事例。 結構:重新審視這些句型結構。 1 the decision to do A to do B is adj 2 For years sb have adhered to the rule that 同位語從句(包含sb are the ones who) 3 it would be wildly impossible to think of a single case/example +定於從句1+where引導的定語從句2(注意從句裡面還有一個否定)語言:1 比爾蓋茲從哈佛輟學為了實現自己的夢想,這個決定的確不尋常。 The decision of Bill Gates to quit Harward to realize his dream is indeed unconventional. 2 因為這么多年了,大眾遵循的規則就是,成功的人應該是那些把自己的天分基於良好的教育背景之上的人。 For years the general public has adhered to the unwritten rule that the most success people are the ones who build their gifts and specialties upon lucrative ecation. 3 在報刊雜志當中,幾乎不可能看到這樣的例子,某行業領軍人物沒有完成自己的大學本科教育。

These men believed in journalism as a calling, and were proud to be published in the daily press.These contestants believed in beauty contests as a shortcut to personal prosperity, and must be proud to be appreciated, admired, or even adored by indivials and groups from various channels.了解了背景介紹的段落寫作手法後,我們慢慢發現,在通往高分作文的路上,模板的威力越來越小,模式的威力顯現的越來越大,最關鍵的是要心知肚明寫完上句後,下句應該寫什麼,就算內容上不明確,方向上應該有個指引,否則自然是為了寫而寫,或者以為完成了模板這個動作,分就高了。改卷老師的確沒有時間那麼詳細的分析你的套路和邏輯,但是,沒有這樣的邏輯和模式支撐,很難形成這樣的語言包裝,而我們要達到的效果是,任何考官讀到這段當中的任何句子時,都會明白,這和普通的範文以及其他考生的文章截然不同,不論他是否選擇繼續停留,他都會明白,讓這位考生出類的,遠遠不只是模板。 【變通】每次上課講完了一個知識點,需要驗證的時候,我都會問同學們是你們選擇出題還是我來出題你們驗證,無數個班過去了,幾乎無一例外的選擇我出題,呵呵,我只能感激各位對我的信任了,只是有一個觀念在我腦子裡面盤旋--一個連考題都沒有心情翻閱的人,怎麼會有心情和精力來一句一句仿寫,或者來推敲我所說的模式?希望我是錯的。今天不留題目,大家自行變通。
