About twenty of us had been fortunate enough to receive invitations to a film-studio(影棚)to take part in a crowd-scene. Although our "act" would last only for a short time, we could see quite a number of interesting things.
We all stood at the far end of the studio as workmen prepared the scene, setting up trees at the edge of a winding path. Very soon, bright lights were turned on and the big movie-camera was wheeled into position. The director shouted something to the camera operator and then went to speak to the two famous actors nearby. Since it was hot in the studio, it came as a surprise to us to see one of the actors put on a heavy overcoat and start walking along the path. A big fan began blowing tiny white feathers down on him, and soon the trees were covered in "snow". Two more fans were turned on, and a "strong wind" blew through the trees. The picture looked so real that it made us feel cold.
The next scene was a complete contrast (對比). The way it was filmed was quite unusual. Pictures in front taken on an island in the Pacific were shown on a glass screen. An actor and actress stood of the scene so that they looked trick like this, palm trees, sandy beaches, as if they were at the water's edge on an island. By a simple and blue, clear skies had been brought into the studio!
Since it was our turn next, we were left wondering what scene would be prepared for us. For a full three minutes in our lives we would be experiencing the excitement of being film "stars"!
我們大約二十人足夠幸運到被邀請去到一個影棚去做群眾演員。盡管我們的表演僅僅維持很短，我們依然能了解不少有趣的事情。
做為工作人員我們都站在工作室盡頭為鏡頭做准備，同時在一個小道旁邊布置著樹景。很快，燈光打開，巨大的攝影機就位。導演對著攝影師喊了些什麼然後到了兩名名演員跟前說了些東西。盡管影棚里很熱，但是令我們吃驚的是他們其中一個演員居然穿上了一個大衣然後開始沿著路走。又輕又白的羽毛被一個大風扇開始刮著落在他身上。很快樹上都被「白雪」覆蓋。另外兩個風扇也開始啟動，一陣強風刮過樹叢。這個場景是如此的真實以至於我們都開始感覺寒冷。
下一個場景跟這個完全不同。它呈現出來的方式很不尋常。在一個玻璃屏幕上太平洋一個海島躍然而出。一對男女演員在場景中他們就看著跟有特技一樣，棕櫚樹沙灘都看起來像在這個島上的水邊。隨著一個簡單的藍景的加入，一個清澈的天空就映入了這個影棚。
接下來輪到我們了，被留下的我們期待著為我們准備的是什麼場景。我們接下來的三分鍾會享受著當電影「明星」的樂趣。
